Life Update

What happens when you can't find your memory card reader? Oh yea, that's right...you don't blog and one day leads to the next and then the next until finally you decide to turn the house upside to find your memory card reader which really wasn't hiding.

Story of my life folks.

Okay, back to business. We have both been pretty busy recently with school work. Todd is engulfed into the wonderful world of communications and I am focusing on anything and everything library. In fact, I'm getting into a routine in my internship at a local school in the media center. I just love it. I was totally made to do this job. I'm such a nerd but I love every moment of processing a brand new book. Plus helping the students (K-8) is really fun. They love coming to the library and I love how one moment we are working with young children and the next is teens. The day moves pretty fast and there is never a dull moment! I took some pictures for my portfolio...doesn't this picture just make you smile? I love libraries.

This past weekend Keara and Jon came into town for a visit. We were suppose to all go camping but the weather had other plans. Instead we went out to eat and spent some quality time back at our house. I'm thankful that Todd and Jon get along so well. Two peas in a pod couch.

They are pretty ridiculous when they get together. Here is proof:

Saturday morning, Keara helped me gather some supplies and get to work on making baby shower decorations for my sister's upcoming baby shower. I am so excited to be in charge of decorations and gathered most my ideas from Pinterest and another friend, Ashley who recently hosted a baby shower. I couldn't have done it without Keara's help. Thank you sweet friend! So my living room currently looks like this...

So much more to come and the breakdown of where I got all the supplies and cost plus some super cute party favors! All that goes down this weekend and I'm very excited to put it all together. Hurry up weekend, I'm so ready to see my family!

Be back soon, promise.

Rest in Love

Leaving you today with a great song with a great message. Listen to the words.

I just want to love you.

Loving God the way he loves us is so simple. Why do we try to make it so complicated?
